In fact, they are so convenient that many people use them for their desktops as well, just to avoid having to open the case and install extra hardware. But they work fantastically for laptops, and are probably the easiest solution.

Which one you decide to buy is really up to you and depends solely on your needs, such as what you’ll be using the computer for.
Finally, if you plan to use multiple monitors with your new ASUS, you’ll need to purchase a monitor array- that is a stand that holds multiple monitors. These vary anywhere from two screens, up to 3 for your laptop. Cost wise, they are start around $500 and can go up to over $1000. Again the arrangement and number of monitors that you need will vary, depending on what you want to do with your system.
